Fishing Results:

Well we moved the trip to VA in the hopes of catching the fish that didn't seem to be making their way down to North Carolina because of a more temperate climate. Someone forgot to tell the Earth that is was supposed to be serving us a more temperate climate because our fishing day was smack dab in the middle of an arctic blast. The fish ran off the coast for warmer waters, and once again evaded our hooks. The sub freezing temperatures were endured, and certainly not enjoyed. The ocean water was freezing as it hit the boat. The mates earned their tips even though they didn't need to pull in any fish.

Thing to remember :

Gary Beatty dropped off 2 cases of beer to make sure he gets invited next year.

Greg Ball backed out because of the Steelers Championship game - baby.

Jim Dopkin backed out because it snowed the night before we left - baby.

Mike Snyder overcoming Tom's dominating pool play to beat him in the championship game of the first ever foosball tournament.

Joe Pavucsko is not prejudiced by weight.

Tom Wenger won the Holdem' Tourney with Joe P taking second.

Steelers beat the Ravens to move to the Superbowl while the Eagles lost to the Cardinals.

Mike Snyder winning at Monopoly.

Because of snacking, no one was hungry enough to eat spaghetti on Sunday night.

It was too cold to play circle ball (the first year it has been omitted), and it was a good thing, since no one brought a rugby ball.

Joe and Larry winning a Wii bowling tournament at the bar by winning 2 of 4 games and winning a forfeit by the #1 seed (who they lost their 2 games to) when they failed to show up.

The first ever food/booze auction contributed $52 back to offset costs.
